Broadbridge International Group was retained in September 2004 by Cristo Rey New York High School one month prior to the school's opening on 103rd Street in East Harlem. Cristo Rey New York High School is a coeducational, college preparatory Catholic school whose mission is to provide access to a value-centered education and real-life work opportunities to qualified students who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend a Catholic or private secondary school.
Broadbridge handled the media relations for the opening and consulted with the senior staff on communications, marketing and fundraising strategy.

Elizabeth’s dedicated efforts made certain that the school's opening received timely coverage by local television, print, and radio. The positive media response allowed Cristo Rey to transition from the project phase to a known academic institution in New York City.
