The Africa-America Institute

The Africa-America Institute retained Broadbridge to design a strategy for outreach to target audiences in the United State to support the mission of the AAI which is "to promote enlightened enlightened engagement between Africa and America through the education, training and dialogue." As part of the strategy a number of events were planned in New York City and Washington, DC:

A book reception (June 22, 2006) organized by Oxford University Press and the Africa-America Institute for Charlayne Hunter-Gault's book, New News Out of Africa, Uncovering Africa's Renaissance was held in New York. [view invitation]
A reception in Washington, DC was organized to outreach to policy leaders and decision makers on Capitol Hill. The reception celebrated the work of the Africa-America Institute through "Generations of Quiet Progress." [view program]
Reception in New York City, June 28, 2006, co-sponsored through an alliance with the United States Institute of Peace. The reception, held at Citigroup Executive Conference Center, included a program on The United States Institute of Peace and its efforts to prevent, manage and resolve conflicts in Africa.
