Broadbrige was retained to work with the Institutional Development staff to develop a strategy for outreach that included:
- Establishing a presence in Washington, DC and hiring a new lobbying firm
- Working with Urban Dialogues to organize a play reading series: McCarthyism Revisited
- Place articles in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times about a new graduate program in Emergency and Disaster Management
- Develop media relations outreach and strategy
